Business Directory added to NewHopeTrojans.com.  All Businesses supporting the New Hope Trojans are welcome to submit a listing in the Trojans Business Directory.  All submissions are subject to the approval of the webmaster for appropriateness.  This determination will be made on the basis of the webmasters judgement solely. 

October 20, 2008

NewHopeTrojans.com goes smart phone, iphone, pda compatible.  Site detects requesting device to be a handheld device and strips out all the graphics for fast loading and easy access via handheld.

September 2008:  Football Photo Gallery

Aug 26, 2008: 1. Added “Daily Quiz Question” link to daily questions and daily word at website Number2.com.
2. Added Football play of the week to New Hope Football, a feature of USA Football.com

Aug 20, 2008:  1.  Added Poll capability and initial poll is a school safety question.  It’s in the sidebar.
2.  Added Trojan Forum for discussion of New Hope School issues.
3. Added a contact form page to the top tab menu.

Aug 9, 2008:  Site upgrade with a new content management system which allows updating of the site by logging in from any internet connected computer anywhere.  A new feature also allows updating of the site by email, and texting by cell phone.  All this to produce a site that is as flexible and dynamic as possible.

1. NewHopeTrojans.com converted to content management system using the ”Thesis” theme.
2. Thesis theme features unlimited rotating images randomly displayed with each download of the page.
3. “Textmarks” window featuring cell phone updating of the website Textmarks window by using texting service.  Features allow any cell phone user to send a text message request (in this case nhnews to 41411) and receive the text on their cell phone which you currently see in the Textmarks window.  Also allows users to subscribe to receive the Textmarks text message on your cell phone anytime an alert is sent out.
4. Added the “Postie” plugin which allows text, photo, and video email to be posted on the webpage automatically.
5. Added “Phoneblogz” plugin which posts MP3 files recorded from a phone call to be posted automatically.  We ‘webcast’ games by calling in to the phoneblogz computer where the call is recorded, the data converted to MP3 format and then posted on our web page.

The real time Game update page has also been upgraded in a similar fashion using the same Word Press content management system and the “Cutline” theme.
