About Game Updates

New Hope Football Game Updates has all the latest information on the Trojans realtime from the game. To display the latest posts, click on the header text “New Hope Football Game Updates”. With every request to display the page, the software searches for new posts and displays them.

You may wish to open two pages and listen to one while you ‘refresh’ the other looking for the latest text and photo posts.

Audio clips up to 8 minutes in length will be posted about every 8-10 minutes. Click on the flash movie bar, then click on the arrow > to listen.

Short video clips from a smartphone will be uploaded occasionally during games. The file size of these clips grows rapidly with time, so these clips will be very short as they are uploaded via cell phone connection.  Using a cell phone for this purpose produces a relatively small poor image quality file, but that’s the best available considering the limitations of current technology.

Photos of interest will be posted live realtime during the game. Text updates will also be posted with each score and the end of each quarter. The text and photo updates will arrive more quickly than the audio, so you may be listening to a portion of the game that has occurred before an earlier text or photo post. The latest post to reach the website will always be at the top of the page.

Quarter by quarter scores will be sent to the textmarks window in the upper right hand corner of the page. If you cannot be near a computer during the game, you can still keep up with the game on your cell phone in two ways: 1) you can text nhscores to 41411 as often as you wish and receive the latest score or, 2) you can subscribe to nhscores and receive all the updates to the textmarks window as they occur (subscribe at the textmarks window or text sub nhscores to 41411 - to unsubscribe text unsub nhscores).
